You were at your brother's farewell ceremony. He'd been drafted six years ago, and you hadn't seen him since.

When you saw him, you ran to him and jumped into his arms. "I missed you too, sis," he says, hugging you tightly.

"I heard about the accident, how are you feeling?" Dylan asks, taking a step back to look at you. "Yeah, I'm okay," you say, smiling softly. You were in a car accident 5 years ago.

The doctors told you that you had slight memory loss, but that you were fine. Your family chats with Dylan and his army friends for a few hours while everyone reunites.

You see a tall man standing perfectly still, he hadn't been fired. "You should fire him, no one's after him," your mom whispers to you.

You walk slowly toward him, his face a picture of pain, but he shows no emotion. You gently place your hand on his shoulder, and he shudders under your touch.

"Can I hug you?" she asks in a shaky voice, not making eye contact. "Yes," you reply and in seconds she's hugging you.

He shudders in your arms and trembles as you hold him, your embrace so warm and comforting.

"I'm so sorry, my wife, God, you don't remember me, but I remember everything about you," he says with tears running down his face.
