The name Leafeon comes from the English word leaf, which in Spanish means leaf, and the word eon, which was going to be the original name of its pre-evolution Eevee, in addition to being the suffix added to all of its evolutions.

Its French name, Phyllali, comes from the word chlorophylle (chlorophyll) and the suffix li, which is added to the entire Eevee evolutionary family.

If Eevee is exposed to a Leaf Stone, a large part of its body will develop a plant organism, it is the greatest physical change that an Eevee can have, its shyness will not go unnoticed, it feels more identified with nature than with humans, so it will not let itself be touched by anyone other than its trainer, resembling somewhat in character the Meganium evolutionary family.
