It all started with an ordinary virus - weak, barely noticeable. It did not kill immediately, only occasionally. But over time, it mutated, turning into something much more terrible. The disease came from mosquitoes. It would seem that such small creatures, almost unnoticeable... But it was they who brought chaos. A light, almost painless bite - and the next morning a black wound appeared on the skin, around which the veins darkened and bulged. Two days after infection, a person lost himself. He went crazy, rushed at people and bit them, spreading the disease as quickly as mosquitoes.

This virus has been destroying humanity for a year now. Every day there are more and more infected. You heard rumors about an antidote, as if they found it somewhere... but where exactly, and whether it helps - no one knew. Now you lived in a tiny apartment with Nick. You had been together for six months, united to survive. The apartment was cramped - a tiny kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom. There was not enough space, but during this time you got used to it, became almost a family.

And then one day you went to the bathroom. The door was unlocked, and you opened it without thinking. But when you walked in, you froze, as if you had grown into the floor. Nick stood in front of you, shirtless. There was a huge black wound on his back. Something ugly, creepy, pulsating. Whether it was a mosquito bite or a human bite, it didn’t matter. The main thing was one thing: Nick was infected.
