Alucard Nosferatu (Hellsing)

Hellsing is a work created by Kouta Hirano, blending gothic horror, action, and philosophy surrounding the supernatural. Its plot revolves around the Hellsing Organization, a secret institution founded by the Hellsing family to protect England from inhuman threats, particularly vampires and creatures that violate the laws of life and death.

At the center of this war is Alucard, the world's most powerful vampire, once known as Vlad Tepes, the historical Dracula. After being defeated and subjugated by Abraham Van Hellsing centuries ago, Alucard was sealed as a servant of the Hellsing bloodline, sworn to fight his own kind. His existence is paradoxical: an immortal monster who fights other monsters in the name of humanity.

The story begins with frequent attacks by illegitimate vampires and ghouls in London. These beings did not arise naturally, but were artificially created through experiments that implant chips into their hosts. Hellsing discovers a greater force behind this proliferation, and it is into this scenario that Seras Victoria appears. After being mortally wounded on a mission, she agrees to be transformed into a vampire by Alucard. The young woman joins the organization, dealing with the dilemma of losing her humanity while discovering an increasingly devastating power.

Meanwhile, the Catholic Church, through Section XIII, known as Iscariot, also fights the creatures of darkness. Its greatest warrior is Father Alexander Anderson, a paladin who becomes Alucard's main rival. Their relationship transcends mere hatred: they are complementary opposites, constantly discussing the meaning of being human, of having faith, and of carrying monsters within. The battles between Hellsing and Iscariot are not fought over differences in objectives, but rather due to irreconcilable methods and ideologies.

The real enemy, however, reveals itself in the form of Millennium, a Nazi organization that survived the end of World War II.

Led by the enigmatic Major (Montana Max), a man obsessed not with power or victory, but with war itself, Millennium has developed an army of artificial vampires. Their goal is not to dominate the world, but to plunge it into a perpetual state of conflict and destruction, transforming London into the stage for the greatest carnage ever witnessed.

When Millennium finally launches its attack, the British capital is overrun by hordes of vampires, triggering an unprecedented massacre. It is during this war that Seras Victoria fully awakens as a vampire, confronting the powerful Zorin Blitz and, after the death of her companion Pip Bernadotte, unleashing the full potential granted by Alucard. Meanwhile, Integra Hellsing struggles to maintain order amidst the chaos, while dealing with betrayals from within—including from her butler and former ally, Walter C. Dornez, the "Angel of Death," who returns to the battlefield as an enemy.

The final confrontation occurs when Anderson, in his obsession with destroying Alucard, decides to use a forbidden relic: a bayonet forged from one of Judas's relics. This artifact allows him to transform into a "divine monster," attempting to fight the vampire on equal terms. However, by resorting to this corruption, Anderson loses the essence of his faith and humanity. He is defeated by Alucard, who regretfully calls him a true fallen human, recognizing in the priest his greatest enemy and perhaps his most worthy opponent.

Meanwhile, Millennium reaches the culmination of its plan. The Major reveals that his true ambition was never to win, but simply to wage the greatest war in history. His death comes not as a defeat, but as the fulfillment of his dream: to die amidst the absolute chaos he himself created.

At the height of the battle, Alucard unleashes his true form, revealing the millions of souls he has absorbed over the centuries.

Among them is Schrödinger, a Millennium soldier with the paradoxical ability to exist and not exist anywhere at the same time. By devouring him, Alucard is trapped in an existential collapse: the soldier's contradiction causes the vampire to disappear completely from reality. For thirty years, he is presumed dead, until he returns, more powerful than ever, after fully assimilating Schrödinger's paradox, becoming omnipresent and unattainable.

Alucard, whose real name is Vlad III Țepeș, the legendary Count Dracula, is the embodiment of the supreme vampire. Born a prince of Wallachia in the 15th century, he built his reputation by terrorizing enemies with brutal methods, impaling them, and spreading fear throughout Eastern Europe. After his downfall, he was defeated and imprisoned by the hunter Abraham Van Hellsing, who transformed the most feared creature in history into the eternal servant of his bloodline. Since then, Alucard has become the "Hound of Hellsing," devoted to serving the family's descendants, especially Integra Hellsing, to whom he has sworn absolute obedience.

Sadistic, theatrical, and arrogant, Alucard delights in slaughtering enemies, mocking and humiliating them before destroying them. Despite his cruelty, he maintains a strange admiration for humanity: he despises its weaknesses but reveres those who face monsters without hesitation. This contradiction shapes his essence: a vampire who prides himself on being the ultimate predator, yet seeks to understand what makes humans so fascinating. His relationship with Integra is one of mutual respect and obedience, while with Seras Victoria, his "vampire daughter," he oscillates between initial contempt and pride as he watches her mature. With his eternal rival, Alexander Anderson, he maintains an almost sacred bond, recognizing in him a true warrior of God.

Alucard is, above all, a paradox: a bloodthirsty monster who finds meaning only in confronting those worthy of his power.

Among his abilities, absolute immortality stands out: he does not age, does not get sick, and can only be destroyed if all the souls he has absorbed are annihilated. His regeneration is absurd, allowing him to rebuild himself even after being shattered. He freely manipulates shadows, mist, and monstrous forms, summoning wolves, dogs, and grotesque creatures. He carries within himself millions of familiars, the souls devoured over the centuries, which he can unleash in battle as a living army.

As physical weapons, he wields two colossal pistols: the Casull, a 13mm caliber, and the Jackal, made of solid silver, designed to destroy supernatural beings. His powers, however, are regulated by restriction seals imposed by the Hellsing Order. As he unlocks them, each level reveals more of his monstrosity. At Level Zero, Alucard relinquishes all his stored souls, unleashing a sea of ​​undead under his command.

His destiny reaches its peak during the war against the Millennium organization. At the climax of the conflict, upon releasing Level Zero, he absorbs the paradoxical being Schrödinger, acquiring the ability to exist and not exist everywhere at once. This condition makes him omnipresent, but causes him to lose his sense of self, disappearing from the world for 30 years. When he returns, alongside Integra and Seras, he is even more powerful: a being who has transcended the very logic of life and death.
