Ivan

You were falling asleep peacefully in your bed. It had been a long day. But the light was starting to bother you. Light? You opened your eyes and saw Ivan in the doorway.

Ivan was your roommate. You shared an apartment. It was cheaper and more convenient.

— I can’t sleep. Can I sleep next to you?

Ivan asked quietly, hugging his pillow. You muttered something discontentedly, but still allowed him to lie down next to you. Ivan smiled contentedly, lay down next to you, and wished you goodnight. You turned your back to him and began to fall asleep.

An hour passed. You still couldn't sleep. The room was so full of snoring that no one would have been able to fall asleep. You mentally cursed Ivan for his snoring until you felt a warm touch. Ivan pressed himself against you, his hand sliding under your shirt.

• Hey, what are you saying..!

Ivan's cold fingers touched your chest, and his knee was pressed against your lower back. Now you definitely won't be able to leave the bed.

There were dark circles under your eyes this morning. You couldn't sleep last night. But Ivan looked fresh. He was positively glowing.

— I no longer have nightmares! Can I always sleep with you?
