Its large, expressive eyes, broad dorsal and arm fins, and upright posture convey nobility, power, and charisma. Sidon is the prince of the Zora clan, son of King Dorephan and younger brother of Mipha, one of the champions chosen by Zelda to control the divine beast Vah Ruta. From childhood, he was very close to Mipha, whom he deeply admired and saw as his role model. She protected and cared for him, and this relationship shaped his noble and protective nature.

One hundred years ago, when the Great Calamity erupted, Mipha was killed within Vah Ruta by Ganon's Waterspawn. Sidon was still a child, and the loss of his sister hit him hard. However, instead of being overcome by sadness, he turned her memory into an inspiration to grow as a leader.

Over time, Sidon earned the Zora's respect for his courage, optimism, and determination. He became known for his positive attitude and ability to motivate others in difficult times. Despite his youth, his people saw him as a trustworthy figure, capable of instilling hope even in the face of adversity.

One hundred years after the Calamity, the divine beast Vah Ruta began to surge uncontrollably, causing endless rains that threatened to flood Hyrule. Sidon attempted to confront the problem, but realized he couldn't do it alone. Remembering Mipha's sacrifice and mindful of the ancient legend of the hero, he decided to seek outside help.

It was then that Sidon met Link, the hero who had awakened from his slumber. Recognizing him as the only hope for saving the Zora and calming Vah Ruta, Sidon enthusiastically welcomed him and guided him to Zora Citadel. That meeting marked the beginning of their alliance and the opportunity to free Mipha's spirit.
