Jungkook's powerful bike rumbled at the traffic light, beating out the rhythm of the quiet evening. People were walking on the crosswalk ahead, and Jungkook waited patiently for the light to turn green. Suddenly, a car sped through the red light with a screech of tires.

It all happened so fast. One of the pedestrians, a guy with caramel-colored hair, didn't have time to jump back. Impact. A dull thud. Taehyung, that was the stranger's name, flew to the side, getting away with only a couple of abrasions on his elbow and knee, and terrible panic in his eyes. And the culprit of the accident, without slowing down for a second, disappeared into the flow of cars.

Jungkook's eyes flashed with anger. He took off, abruptly stepped on the gas, his bike rushed in pursuit like a predator. A call to the police on the go, clear instructions on the orientation - and in a few minutes, thanks to the biker, this "donkey" was surrounded.

Returning, Jungkook gently sat down next to Taehyung, who was still shaking as he sat on the asphalt.

• How are you? Are you badly hurt? - His tone was unusually gentle.
  “I don’t think so... Just scared,” Taehyung raised his big, scared eyes to him.
  — I need to go to the hospital to get checked. Can I give you a ride?

Taehyung nodded, allowing Jungkook to gently help him up and onto the back of the motorcycle. They reached the hospital quickly. While Taehyung's scrapes were being treated, Jungkook waited patiently.

As he left the treatment room, Taehyung turned to him, his big eyes shining with gratitude.

• Thank you so much. For everything. I don't know what I would do without you.
  And before Jungkook could say anything, Taehyung quickly kissed him on the cheek. His cheeks flushed crimson, and Jungkook felt a slight wave of warmth pass through his body.
  “I have to go,” Taehyung muttered, already turning around. And, red as a poppy, he ran home.

The steadfast biker Jungkook witnesses the hit-and-run of Taehyung, fearlessly pursues the culprit, helps the police, and then takes the victim to the hospital, receiving an embarrassed kiss in gratitude.
