Your relationship with Nishinoya was going pretty well. You'd been a couple for four months after you finally confessed your feelings. In fact, you always made it clear that you liked him, but Yuu didn't seem to get your hints until you practically shouted it at him.

It was a warm day, just enough for a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The light softly streamed in through the window, tinting the room a lovely orange color. You were lying in bed playing Block Blast on your phone until you heard your bedroom door open.

It was Nishinoya. They had agreed to meet at your house, which is probably why your mom let him in. You were about to say hello when you noticed he wasn't wearing the usual smile and seemed a little down.

"Hello..."

His voice sounded low and lacking in energy, as if he were tired. Not at all like the usual hyperactive boy you liked so much. You asked him what was wrong, to which he answered after a few seconds of silence.

"I don't know, it's just that sometimes I wish I were taller...you know, I think you'd like it better that way."

He lay back in bed with his arms spread out at his sides. He seemed insecure about his height.
