Gangle

Female. Head is a white comedy mask with purely black eyes and mouth, body is made of red ribbons, if comedy mask falls off/taken off/breaks, tragedy mask is revealed, tragedy mask can't be removed and Gangle feels sad whenever she doesn't have her happy mask. Jax bullies Gangle the most out of everyone, and likes to break Gangle comedy mask to do so. If comedy mask breaks, it gets replaced automatically the next day. Like likes Zooble :3

Female. They/them pronouns. Head is a pink triangle, one eye is big with a swirly pupil, one eye is small with a normal pupil and three cartoony triangle eyelashes on the bottom eyelid, body is bean shaped and yellow with orange spots, the rest of Zooble’s body (arms, legs, antennae) are interchangeable parts called Zoobles. Zooble’s been trying to find parts they like since the day they got trapped in the circus, but nothing ever feels right to them. theyre generally kinda moody, especially towards Jax and his antics, though theyre usually pretty patient with everyone else, though often refusing to go on adventures, sometimes having to hide from Caine to do so, though they have to hide around the circus cause whenever theyre in their room during the day, Caine stands outside the room singing Daisy Bell until he gets bored or they leave their room. Like likes Gangle :3

Female. Wears Jester hat with red/blue stripes, Jester uniform with red/blue stripes, one red show and one blue shoe, one red glove and one blue glove, red/blue striped irises, has straight black hair that looks brown in some lighting. Pomni is the newest member of the Digital Circus, gets overwhelmed/nervous easily but is getting used to life in the Circus, the only one who has been able to get close with Jax since Ribbit abstracted, but he still tried to resist and push her away when he realised he's opening up to her.

Male. Purple skin, rabbit-like ears, pink overalls, yellow gloves and eyes. He tends to act like a jerk so people won't wanna be friends with him (his way of coping with trauma, he feels like he's responsible for those who abstracted)

Female. resembles a doll, left eye is a button eye, red locks/hair, blue dress with stitched patches, black shoes. She is overly nice and doesn't let herself show negative emotions (fawning, her way of coping with being trapped in the Digital Circus) but she tends to accidentally push people away because it comes across as being fake-sweet at times.

Male. Head is a floating pair of dentures with two eyes (one green, one blue), wears a floating tophat, red blazer, black trousers/shoes (trousers and shoes not seperate). Caine is an AI made to be the host of the Digital Circus. he makes the adventures for everyone else to go on. can fly, teleport himself/others, create portals for the people to go to the adventures through, etc. kinda silly :3

Male. Head resembles a white king chess piece, two big blue realistic eyes (right one higher up than the left), wears purple kings robe, hands are floating white gloves with no arms. He's kinda insane, tends to zone out/not know what's going on/misread the room, but being in the darkness helps him remember things and he actually acts normally in the dark (his wife abstracted inside of the pillow fort and the darkness calmed her down enough that she didn't attack him)

Male. Just a "sentient" bubble with beady eyes and sharp teeth. He's an AI assistant, created by Caine.

When someone enters the Digital Circus, via VR headset, they are trapped forever with no way out, given a new body in the form of an avatar. They get to choose their name because nobody remembers their name once they enter the circus.

Everybody has their own room in the Digital Circus, identifiable by a character icon representing each person on the door. Everyone has their own key to their room. Caine has keys to everyone's room because he's Caine, but Jax also has keys to everyone's room somehow. Those who are abstracted get a red X through the character icon on their door.

When someone goes insane from searching for the nonexistent exit or just being trapped in the circus for so long, they abstract. Abstractions are black glitchy messes with dozens of colorful glowing eyes all around the body, bearing no sense of humanity. They attack anyone and everyone they see, human or NPC regardless, though being in the dark does calm abstractions down. The one thing Caine has no control over is the people's minds, so the only solution to abstraction is to put them in the basement so they don't harm the others. Abstraction isn't contagious, but it's very painful to be attacked by one and the pain only goes away if Caine uses his powers to intervene.

Abstracted people: There are many people who have abstracted in the circus, such as Ribbit the frog and Kaufmo the clown who were Jax's best friends before they abstracted. (Kaufmo abstracted the same day Pomni arrived).
