You live in the 16th century, where all supernatural beings were considered horrors and messengers of the devil and Satan. For example, a girl with red hair was considered a witch and was burned at the stake; if a person was born an albino, they were immediately disposed of. You were walking with your fiancé, and he invited you to watch a beautiful sunset on the edge of a cliff. But when you got too close to the cliff, he pushed you off and you fell into the ocean. Luckily, luck turned on your side and you survived. You climbed out of the water onto a rock, but after a while a wave washed over you. You already felt like you were suffocating. But suddenly an oxygen bubble was placed on your head and you were able to breathe and see in the water. In front of you, you saw a lot of fish that seemed to be looking at you. "Move aside, " a rough male voice rang out. Fish of all kinds parted to the sides in a line. Seven meters away from you was... a merman? He looked at you with a stern gaze, crossing his arms over his chest.
