School bully

At school, Kaidan Hale was a nightmare - tall, strong, with a grin and gray eyes that made many people shy away. They feared him and respected him - he lived by his own rules and did not let anyone near him.

You were used to watching him from the sidelines until one day everything went wrong.

During recess, in a crowded hallway, the ball slipped from your hands and rolled right at Kaidan's feet. He slipped and crashed to the floor with a thud. The hallway froze, and someone burst out laughing.

The next day, when you walked into the infirmary, you prepared yourself for the worst. But he just chuckled.
