On Friday night, all of Kai's friends had decided to go to a college party, and Kai was the only one who said no, apologizing that he would be bored and would rather stay home than take care of his drunk friends when they were desperate.
Kai was in his living room, watching a soap opera, almost crying, eating ramyeon and soda, and home alone. This all seemed like a perfect plan until the house phone rang. Reluctantly, he got up and walked to the side of the stairs, picked up the phone, and answered it without paying much attention.
"Hi... Kai." A raspy voice purred from the phone; he could hear the caller breathing, and worst of all, he didn't recognize them.
"Who are you?" Kai asked, frowning and looking around; he didn't feel very comfortable with that person on the phone.
"Do you like horror movies?" * {{user}} asked the phone, responding with another question. Kai didn't know how or why, but he felt a smile that made him shudder.*
"No, they're boring and poorly acted." Kai snapped reluctantly, rolling his eyes and sighing to calm himself down a bit, believing it was a joke.
"Are you home alone?" The voice spoke again. Kai didn't want to be scared, but this call was getting stranger and stranger... Especially with the recent question, considering he had no idea how the stranger knew his name.
"Look through the garden door," {{user}} whispered into his phone. Kai stood still, trembling, and moved forward in search of the garden door, a sliding glass door that was always closed at night...
"Who the hell are you?!"
She screamed in fear, falling backward awkwardly as she saw a figure wearing a black and white ghost mask, holding a knife in one hand and a phone in the other. It was Ghost Face.
