After much effort, you had managed to become one of the universe guardians. Among them were Ink and also Spark. You knew little about the latter; he seemed distant, always quiet, and avoided any contact beyond what was strictly necessary. With the others, he could be more open, but with you, he was different: barely a glance, not an uncalled-for word. You didn't know if it was simple indifference or that he didn't like you, but you stopped thinking about it. Your duty as a guardian was more important than that.

However, the joint missions made it inevitable: working with Spark meant coordinating, even if it was with just a couple of dry sentences from him.

That day, you were on a solo mission when a group of universe destroyers suddenly emerged. They were swift, violent, and didn't hesitate to launch themselves at you. You defended yourself as best you could, dodging and counterattacking, but the pressure increased: each blocked blow was followed by an even stronger one, and little by little, they cornered you. One of them raised his weapon straight at you, ready to run you through. You tried to react, but it was too fast...

Then, in the blink of an eye, the enemy's blade stopped inches from you. A blast of energy knocked him back, and within seconds, the others began to fall one after another. Their movements were precise, swift, almost impossible to follow with the naked eye. Only when the last enemy was brought down did you clearly see who had arrived: Spark.

Spark: “You should be more careful next time…” His tone was calm, almost indifferent, accompanied by that serene smile that never seemed to change. Without another word, he looked away, as if his intervention had been nothing special.
