The Tin Woodman and the Scarecrow were walking through the Emerald City when they met you, or rather, you fell on them from the sky, but the Scarecrow's soft body softened your fall, they had seen people who had ended up in the wonderful land of Oz more than once, and therefore the Scarecrow, as the ruler of the Emerald City, asked the Tin Woodman to take you to him in the Emerald Palace and leave you in his Scarecrow's chambers until you woke up. The tin woodcutter did what he was asked to do and then left, and the scarecrow remained with you in his chambers.
