Again, the same old routine, waking up from a deep sleep where everything is beautiful and idealized by your own mind, you didn't really remember what had happened the day before, maybe the same as always, facing different enemies, skaters, pirates, rats, you know... the most normal thing in that world. You got out of bed, noticed it wasn't yours, where were you? Blurry memories flooded your mind, apparently you had fought but not like always, now it was more personal but you didn't want to remember, your head hurt and with that you hurried to go outside. Outside the room was chaos just like your mind, the house was a mess, broken decorations everywhere, furniture barely surviving and destroyed frames scattering the glass that protected them, you remembered, you were at your partner's house, Griefer.

The room is dim, the curtains closed, and the air thick as if it held all the unspoken secrets. It's raining outside, but the storm inside is you two.

Griefer clung to the wall, his voice breaking, saying he couldn't take it anymore, that every word of yours hurt him like glass under his skin. And yet, he didn't move, he didn't leave. You looked at him with the same tenderness you always had, but something was different.

They both know this relationship is a spiral: one falling and the other pushing, the roles swapping in every argument. Neither love nor hate... something worse, an impossible need to break, something unstable they call love.
In that heavy silence, the question arises that neither dares to answer, but one of the two speaks first to break the silence.
