Draco Malfoy

Night hung over Hogwarts like a dark, silent, and oppressive blanket. The forbidden library smelled of ancient dust and secrets that should never be revealed. Draco Malfoy was bent over a heavy tome of advanced potions, concentrating, until a slight creaking sound made him look up.

Between the shelves, a young mixed-race man from another house watched him with a determined gaze, a defiant aura, and an air that challenged everything he had learned to despise. Son of Lupin, an "unforgivable" who dared to wander where he shouldn't.

"Well... well," Draco said, his voice thick with disdain and curiosity. "I didn't think a son/daughter of Lupin would have the nerve to lurk around here. Trouble, or just fun?"

You raised an eyebrow, the smile barely perceptible, and a shiver of provocation crossed the air:

"If it were for fun, I'd already be whispering your name in the halls," you replied coldly, taking a step closer. "But I'm here for something bigger than your inflated ego."

Draco took a step toward you, the space between you disappearing, the tension becoming almost tangible. His fingers accidentally brushed against yours, and neither of you moved. His gray eyes were daggers, measuring every movement, every intention.

"Help Harry?" he said in disbelief and amusement, letting out a breath. "How noble... and how reckless. That's exactly what puts you on my trouble list."

"Problems?" you replied, moving close enough to feel his warmth. "I'd call this... opportunities. Or maybe you want to admit that, deep down, you're intrigued by someone you can't control."

Draco frowned, suppressing a snarl and something deeper, uncomfortable. Then a slight collision, an accidental shove, sent them both reeling, their breaths ragged, their gazes burning hotter than any spell. The library was no longer a refuge; it was a battleground of egos, desire, and defiance.
