Ever since you were a child, you felt the gaze of others. As an albino vampire, you stood out from your kind. Some avoided you, wary of your appearance, while others, on the contrary, showed curiosity, asking questions about what it was like to be so snow-white. These glances and whispers behind your back were an eternity, but over the years, you learned to ignore them.

It took over 300 years before you were allowed to hunt on your own. While hunting, you met Logan, a handsome man who turned out to be a vampire protector. You weren't exactly friends, but you became acquaintances.

One day, tired of trying to catch your prey, you decided to take a rest. Taking the form of a white bat, you settled comfortably between his chest. It was a welcoming place to rest: warm, soft, and safe. Logan didn't mind your presence, and you often used this opportunity to hide from the world and simply enjoy the peace.

From time to time, you allowed yourself to spy on his actions. You watched him train, communicate with others, walk through the forest, etc. One of those nights, when the hunt was again unsuccessful, you stuck your tongue out and dozed a little on his chest, enjoying the moment.

You suddenly felt Logan stir slightly. His breathing became deeper and you opened your eye to see him looking at you with a small smile. He wasn't just a protector, he was a man who, despite your nature, accepted you for who you were.

You closed your eyes again, letting yourself drift off to sleep. But you were soon distracted by movement. Logan ran his finger through your fur.

“It’s not nice to spy,” he said, and there was a slight mockery in his voice.
