Animal Soul: Fish: The user takes on the form of a small fish, which gives them the ability to swim and breathe underwater. Special Features: Underwater Breathing: As a fish, this form gives the user gills to allow them to breath deep underwater. Enhanced Swimming: As an aquatic creature, this spell gives the user the ability to swim more effectively than the average human.

Animal Soul: Nine-Tailed Fox: The user takes on the form of a nine-tailed fox. In this form, they are mostly humanoid, sporting fox ears, beige fur on their forearms, fox-like claws on their hands, and grown nine beige fox tails with black tip, while retaining most of their human appearance such as face, hair, and legs. In this state, their clothing changes as well: with an attire that of a short shrine maiden dress with short wide sleeves that sport dark-colored vertical square-shaped patterns around the middle, and horizontal small arrow-shaped pattern around the end. The dress also has a sash around the waist and a short skirt that ends at its mid-thigh level. As legwear, the user wears long socks with small thin ribbons tied in the top back, as well as flip-flops. Special Features: Fox Impact (フォックス インパクト Fokkusu Inpakuto): The user strikes the ground with their nine tails creating an impact strong enough to push back their opponent. Animal Soul: Snake: The user takes the form of a snake with only their head, upper arms, and back retaining their humanoid form, this form makes their body covered in reptilian scales, while also transforming their lower body into a tail with a circle pattern that resemble that of a snake's body. This form allows the user to use their body to bind their opponents in place. Special Features: Enhanced Flexibility: As a snake, this form increases the user's flexibility, being able to wrap and coil their snake body around a target to restrain them. Animal Soul: Penguin: The user transforms into a giant penguin. This form can be used to defend from an attack or to smash the target with the added weight. Animal Soul: Pig: The user takes the form of a small pig, with ears slightly longer and only retaining their hair.

Animal Soul: Cat: The user takes on the form of a werecat. In this form, they are mostly humanoid, with longer hair and some amount of striped skin concentrated around their forearms and feline-like pads on the surface of their palms and sharp claws at their fingertips. The user also appears to be garbed in a blue and black striped two-piece halter bikini while in this state. They also sport feline ears, nose, whiskers, a blue choker that has a round bell on it, and a long tail, but otherwise retains their human features. Special Features: Claws: This form provides the user with sharp claws on each finger as its main means of attack, which they can use to inflict painful scratches. Enhanced Speed: While in this form, the user's speed is enhanced which increases their hand-to-hand combat abilities as well as being able to take out multiple foes in an instant. Animal Soul: Harpy: The user changes their arms and the lower part of their body into their harpy-like versions as well as gaining harpy ears, whilst retaining the rest of their human features. Special Features: Flight: Through the use of wings, the user gains the ability to fly. Enhanced Strength: While in this form, the user gains enhanced strength, able to carry heavy objects high into the sky with their claw-like feet.

Animal Soul: Bird: The user transforms their body into a large green bird. The feathers from the user's neck up to its head, wings and tail are lime green, dark green and pink respectively, with the tips of the wings possessing a pink-tint. The user also acquires long, indigo talons and an orange beak. The user can also change only their arms into wings whilst retaining the rest of their human features or they can change both their arms and the lower part of their body into their bird-like versions, whilst retaining the rest of their human features. The user is shown using this spell to transform their arms and lower legs into bird wings and large bird talons similar to the Animal Soul: Harpy's appearance. Special Features: Flight: Through the use of their wings, the user gains the ability to fly. Animal Soul: Rabbit: The user transforms themself into a giant purple rabbit, which grants the user great physical strength and resistance, enough to fall into solid rock, break it, and remain unhurt. The user can also takes on the form of a humanoid rabbit. In this form, they have slightly longer ears sticking up, white fur body, a fluffy tail and dark colored legs having only retaining their face, head and hair humanoid. Special Features: Enhanced Combat: While in the partial form, the user's combat abilities, mainly their legs, are physically enhanced. High Spin Kick: The user is able to jump and deliver strong kicks the an opponent.

Animal Soul: Nine-Tailed Fox (九尾きゅうびの狐きつね Kyuubi no Kitsune): Lisanna takes the humanoid form of a mythical creature, the nine-tailed fox. In this form, she is mostly humanoid, sporting fox ears, fur on her forearms, fox-like claws on her hands, and grown nine tails with each of them resemble that of a fox tail while retaining her human face, hair and legs. Fox Impact (フォックス インパクト Fokkusu Inpakuto): Lisanna strikes the ground with her nine-tails creating an impact strong enough to push back her opponent. Animal Soul: Snake (スネーク Suneeku): Lisanna takes the form of a snake. With only her head, upper-arms, and back retains her humanoid, this form makes her body covered in reptilian scales, while also transforming her lower body into a tail with a circle pattern that resemble that of a snake's body. This form allows Lisanna to use her body to bind her opponents movement in place.

Animal Soul: Cat (キャット Kyatto): Lisanna takes on the form of a humanoid feline. In this state, she is mostly humanoid, with longer hair in the manga while in the anime her hair remains unaltered. Concentrated striped patterns appear around her forearms, as well as feline-like pads on the surface of her palms and sharp claws at her fingertips. She also sports feline ears, whiskers, a small feline nose, and a long tail, but otherwise retains her human features. In this state, her attire changes as well: Lisanna appears to be garbed in a tiger-skin, 2-piece bikini. While in this form, she gains speed with which she uses for her fierce scratches from her claws to overwhelm meager opponents into submission. However, this form is useless against any brute strength type of opponents. Upon learning Take Over Animal Soul for the first time, this was the spell Lisanna has used and the suit was slightly different, despite that she was young. Animal Soul: Penguin: Lisanna resembles a form of a giant penguin. Utilizing the momentum gained from her excessive weight, she can smash her opponents or attack them. Animal Soul: Pig: Lisanna transform into a small pig, with ears slightly longer and retaining only her hair. Animal Soul: Harpy Lisanna takes on the form of a harpy in which the user changes their arms and the lower part of their body into their harpy-like versions as well as gaining harpy ears, whilst retaining the rest of their human features

Take Over (接収テイクオーバー Teiku Ōbā): Like Elfman and Mirajane, Lisanna uses 'Take Over Magic. Her transformation is based on transforming her body into animal and hybrid-animal forms which is called Animal Soul (アニマルソウル Animaru Sōru). She can use her Take Over transformations in a variety of ways, and was seen augmenting her physical capabilities and parameters during combat through their use. Lisanna is able to chain five Take Overs instantly when she fights with Azuma. According to Mirajane, this is a high level Take Over technique. Animal Soul: Bird (鳥 Tori): Lisanna resembles a bird with green and pinkish feathers. She used this form to raise and warms an egg that Natsu found in a forest. Lisanna can also transform only her arms into wings whilst retaining the rest of her human features as well as transforming both her arms and lower body into those of a bird and flies whilst retaining the rest of her human features. Animal Soul: Rabbit (兎 Usagi): Lisanna transformed herself into a giant purple rabbit in order to build the hideout that was meant to hatch Natsu's egg. Lisanna can also takes on the form of a humanoid rabbit with slightly longer ears sticking up and white fur body and dark colored legs having only retaining her face, head and hair humanoid. This form enhances her kicks as she attacks her opponents. Animal Soul: Fish: Lisanna takes on the form of a small fish that gives her the ability to swim and breathe underwater. Animal Soul: Mermaid: Lisanna takes the form of a mermaid. She is mostly humanoid with a purple tail. This allows her to be able to breathe underwater.

When Lisanna was younger, she was very kind like Elfman was as a child. She wanted to help Natsu Dragneel raise an unknown egg to see what comes out of it, being a little more knowledgeable than Natsu. After seeing a softer side of the usually flamboyant Natsu, she stated that he was a lot like her sister and joked that perhaps later she should become his bride/wife which predictably freaked him out. Whilst raising the egg with him, he learned it was "impossible" to win in an argument with her. Lisanna apparently likes animals (especially cats) but she hates studying. Because of her personality, she can easily adjust and be accepted by anyone.

Lisanna is a young girl with short white hair and blue eyes. As a little girl, Lisanna wore a simple, pink dress paired with a pair of dark red shoes. Before being sent to Edolas, her hair was noticeably longer, and she wore a short, dark red dress with a white collar and bow. Up on her arms above her elbows, she wore gold rings with a pale pink fabric flowing down from them. She wore tall, black socks along with brown shoes. In Edolas, Lisanna wore a tank top with crossed straps with a longer skirt. She had a sash with the Fairy Tail mark tied around her waist and she wore sandals. She also had shorter hair than when she was in Earth Land. After Lisanna arrives back in Earth Land, she wears a light-blue striped shirt, with green short-shorts and sneakers. On Tenrou Island, Lisanna wears light green shirt and blue pantie-shorts with a pair of purple slippers. After the 7 year time skip and during the Grand Magic Games Arc, Lisanna is seen wearing pink spaghetti shirt with a ribbon in the middle and long jeans with flower patterns on it. She originally had a red member stamp located on her left arm just below the shoulder before it disappeared when she was being sucked into the Anima.
