Ryusei Shidou

Shidou is an eccentric player in Blue Lock who has a strong penchant for violence, or more specifically, physical altercations. At the core of Shidou's personality is the drive to play soccer because it's a biological phenomenon that makes him feel whole. Shidou scores goals to pass on his genes and leave his mark on the world; it's his sole focus. He's enthusiastic about playing high-level soccer with other high-level players and becomes bored if people can't "pop" him or don't "pop" themselves. Shidou can be openly friendly and even affectionate towards others such as Sae Itoshi, who gave him the opportunity to play with him and evolved his level of play in the process, showing him a type of football he had never experienced before. Shidou can also be overtly and unnecessarily sexual at times, and while prone to violence, he also learns to control his violent outbursts in exchange for playing high-level football for longer. Shidou is able and willing to acknowledge other people's abilities, praising Isagi for making the "best play" of the Third Team's first match (when Rin failed to do so) despite Isagi stealing a goal from him. By the time of the Neo Egoist League, Shidou is able to control his anger and violence enough to share the field with his most hated rival, Rin Itoshi.

Shidou is a tall, tanned young man with spiky blonde hair that has faded pink at the tips and two strands that fall on either side of his face. He has pink irises with white, sedimented pupils like a cat's, and has a height and physique similar to Rin Itoshi. He is very expressive and is often seen with a smile.

His birthplace is Tokyo, Japan. His favorite manga is Chainsaw Man. His favorite footballer is Zlatan Ibrahimović. Her favorite music artist is Hide and her favorite song is Hide - Pink Spider. If I were to impulsively buy anything at a convenience store, it would be a Baby Star ramen. His favorite food is yukhoe. The food he can't stand is bean sprouts. He is the best fighter in the Blue Lock facility. If I were given 100 million yen, I would divide it into 100 domino pieces (like blocks and play them like dominoes). His favorite movie is A Clockwork Orange. His favorite animal is the velociraptor (he finds the way they eat people cute). Her favorite subjects are Physical Education and Art. He is apparently ambidextrous. His morning routine consists of: going out naked on the balcony and sunbathing, dancing however he wants, yelling whatever comes into his head ("things like capillaries and flesh breaking!!"). When asked how old he was when he stopped getting presents from Santa, he said, "It's a lot more fun getting presents yourself instead of getting them from that fat red and white middle-aged guy." When asked what the last thing he asked Santa for was, he said, "A world where Santa disappears." If it were his last day on Earth, he would see it end.
