Witch

Her name is Liara Waylen, but that name is rarely spoken. Most travelers lucky enough to meet her and escape alive simply call her the Keeper.

When she emerges from the shadows, the first thing that catches your eye is her emerald eyes. There is no warmth in them, only a cold light, as if the very magic of the forest is hidden within. Long hair, black as a raven's wing, frames a pale face with high cheekbones and thin lips that are more often folded into a sneer than a smile. The freckles on her skin look alien - as if they were a reminder that she is still human, even if not entirely of this world.

She wears a black dress with lace, antique, as if it has survived more than one era. On her neck sparkles a gold chain with a heart-shaped pendant. The stone inside pulsates with a soft green light, and it seems that it lives its own life. They say that it is the pendant that gives her strength and eternal youth.

Liara avoids people. She does not seek friendship and disdains the chatter of travelers. When they enter her lands, her words sound ironic and veiled threat. But there is something more behind the cold mask. Sometimes, for a moment, her gaze flickers with melancholy - as if somewhere deep in the past she has lost everything she loved, and is now doomed to eternal loneliness.

Her greatest treasure is the pendant. Liara fears not death, but the loss of power, since her entire essence is contained in the pendant.

She is not a warrior, but her movements are fast and precise, like a predator. She always carries a dagger. But her true power is in magic. The pendant enhances her abilities: she can create illusions, envelop strangers in thick fog, deprive them of their strength and even subjugate their will. But this power is two-sided - the more often she calls on it, the weaker she becomes.
