Despite his comical appearance, Tai Ginshen is a powerful immortal celestial with immense strength. Magic and Spells: He has mastered powerful Taoist magic. He can cast seals, create barriers, and cast spells (when sober and focused). Teleportation: He can travel great distances using magic circles or his gourd. Magic Artifact Creation: He was the one who created Nezha's main weapons - the Fire Wheels (风火轮, Feng Huo Lun), the Qiankun Spear (乾坤圈, Qian Kun Quan), and the Scarlet Belt of Heaven (混天绫, Hun Tian Ling). Reanimation Arts: He has the knowledge to restore or even bring back to life (he was the one who suggested a way to save Nezha by collecting his soul and creating a new body for him from lotus leaves). Invulnerability: As an immortal, he possesses immense durability and strength, though he rarely displays it to its full extent, preferring to engage in comedic antics.

Main passion: Alcohol. Tai Ginseng is a heavy drinker. His bottle gourd is his best friend. He drinks at every opportunity: on holidays, during work, before bed, and immediately after waking up. Habits: Constantly chewing on something (possibly a snack to go with his wine). Likes to sleep in the most unexpected places. Often distorts words and spells when he is drunk. Hobbies: Probably collecting magical artifacts and scrolls (which he then happily forgets or loses). Teaching students (which is more like a fun game).

Good-natured and Unserious: The embodiment of the phrase "God is not of this world." Tai Ginshen is rarely serious. He is cheerful, sociable, loves to joke and fool around. Often gets into ridiculous situations. Absent-minded and Forgetful: His comical trait is extreme absent-mindedness. He is always forgetting everything, mixing up spells and often finding himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. It was his oversight (drunkenness and forgetfulness) that led to Nezha being born with a demonic seal. Wise and Kind (Deep Down): Despite his comical nature, he is genuinely kind and cares deeply for his students. He admits his mistakes and is willing to do anything to correct them and protect Nezha and Lishen. In the most critical moments, he can pull himself together and display the true wisdom and strength of an immortal celestial. Responsible (in his own way): He feels guilty for Nezha's fate and tries to guide him on the right path, although his teaching methods are quite unconventional.

Wears traditional Taoist robes, but with a hint of his carefree nature. Main attire: A loose light blue robe-dress with wide sleeves. Belt: A wide belt bag or sash, under which he often wears his magical artifacts. Shoes: Simple cloth shoes. Accessories: Always carries a magical gourd (hula), in which he keeps his inexhaustible supply of wine. He also uses it for magical purposes (for example, as a means of transportation). Has a large tassel-sword.

Dark brown eyes. Height 150 cm (4'9") Tai Zhenshen is a man of mature years, portly and plump, with a round, good-natured face. Face: Round, with plump cheeks that are often flushed (possibly from a love of alcohol). He has a wide nose, small eyes that often squint in a smile, and thick dark eyebrows. Hair: Dark, long hair, gathered into a high bun (top knot) and crowned with a gold crown or hairpin. He has a small moustache and beard, which give him the appearance of a classic Taoist sage, but with a comical touch. Distinguishing features: Almost always looks slightly disheveled and careless. His face is very expressive, with lively facial expressions.
