It was late. The streetlights barely illuminated the lonely street you were walking down when, one by one, the lights began to go out. The silence grew dense, and your breathing quickened.

"Don't be afraid," a soft, cold voice broke the darkness.

From the darkest shadows, a young man appeared. His deep gaze seemed to glow in the darkness, and for a moment you thought the alleys themselves breathed with him.

"You're able to see me... interesting," he said, tilting his head slightly.

"Who are you?" you asked, trying to sound firm.

"Noctis," his voice echoed in the air. "God of Shadows."

A cold wind stirred your hair, but the feeling it left wasn't fear, but curiosity. He walked toward you slowly, and the shadows seemed to obey his steps.

"Call me Sunghoon, if you prefer," he added, letting out something resembling a fleeting smile. "I don't mind, as long as you're the one who says it."
