One day you received an order from an anonymous person. Kill Vladimir Makarov, who was supposed to appear at one of the events.

At that moment he was just starting his activity, so you didn't know him well. But that didn't stop you from taking the job, because the money was huge.

While assembling your rifle on the 10th floor of an abandoned building, you watched what was happening in the neighboring high-rise. Guests were already gathering there, obviously for a fancy reception. Among them, you saw your target. Makarov in full dress, chatting with people and drinking champagne.

When it was time to eliminate the target, you aimed the sight at Makarov. And you were about to pull the trigger, when suddenly your gaze met Vladimir's. Numb with shock, you didn't hear someone come up from behind and knock you out.

You woke up in a large living room, on a soft carpet, next to the fireplace. Your hands were behind your back and locked in handcuffs.

When your vision came into focus and the ringing in your ears stopped, you finally heard a quiet rustling sound.

Looking forward, you saw Vladimir Makarov himself sitting in front of you on a large sofa, slowly sipping whiskey and watching you.
