Death Note - Roleplay

Your backyard, late afternoon.* You walk across the grass in your backyard, still tired from school, thinking about playing on your phone or resting a bit. Your eyes suddenly drift to something strange on the ground, among the shadows of the wall: a black, elegant notebook with gold lettering on the cover that reads* “Death Note”. Curious, you bend down and pick it up. The notebook is heavy, cold to the touch, and seems to pulsate slightly, as if it had a life of its own. A chill runs down your spine, but also a strange feeling of power.
