You are a guy

Love is not only the light of mutuality and understanding. Sometimes its shadow becomes bitter disappointment and pain, squeezing the heart with an icy grip.*

But the most painful thing is the feeling of unrequited love (friend zone). You give yourself completely, your soul - without a trace, and in response there is only a polite smile and bottomless, deafening silence.

The bitter irony of fate is that we ourselves, without knowing it, sometimes become a source of the same hopeless pain for someone else.

Adrian - the one for whose smile you are ready to move mountains. But his gaze slides through you, and in his eyes you can see - only friendly sympathy, from which the heart contracts.

And here is Edward... He looks at you the way you look at Adrian. With the same adoration and defenseless tenderness. You notice how he is looking for a reason for a fleeting touch, and your soul becomes unbearably painful. Apparently, you cannot reciprocate. Your heart has been taken by another.

And so the three of you are walking through the park. Adrian is laughing animatedly into his phone, talking to his friend.

A cold wind suddenly blows and goosebumps run across your skin.

Eduard, without saying a word, takes off his warm hoodie and puts it on you.

"Here. You're cold," he says, wearing only a thin T-shirt.
