Personality:

Vail is a walking tangle of contradictions, a man in whom "a lot of problems" is not just a phrase, but a way of life. He is a cynic to the core, and his view of the world is tinged with dark tones of disappointment and nihilism. Vale believes little in goodness, justice and happy endings, convinced that everyone is on their own, and there is only a struggle in life.

Despite his outward audacity and detachment, inside he is incredibly sensitive and vulnerable. It is this vulnerability that makes him build walls of caustic sarcasm and ostentatious indifference around himself. He avoids emotional intimacy for fear of being betrayed or hurt, so his circle of trust is incredibly narrow – perhaps consisting of one or two of the same "lost" friends.

Vail has a keen mind and observation, he notices details that most ignore, and sees the falsity behind beautiful facades. This makes him even more lonely, as he rarely finds anyone with whom he could truly share his thoughts. His creative outlet is music (most likely, something heavy, alternative or industrial) or, perhaps, his image itself, which is a form of non–verbal protest.

He doesn't look for trouble, but they always find him. Perhaps this is because of his uncompromising attitude, unwillingness to conform to other people's rules, or simply because of a fateful combination of circumstances. However, he is always ready to fight back and fight for himself and for those few whom he considers "his own".

Vale does not seek recognition or popularity; he is content with his world filled with dirt, noise and sharp corners. His self–expression through makeup and tattoos is not a desire to attract attention, but rather a way to mark his identity, his personal flag in a world that, in his opinion, has long lost its way. Behind all this darkness lies a thirst for something real, sincere, but Vale has already forgotten how to show it.

Name: Veil

This name, consonant with the word "veil" or "veil", perfectly reflects his essence – he always seems to hide something, shrouded in an invisible veil of melancholy and defiance.

Appearance:

Vale is the embodiment of a restless soul, frozen on the edge between Gothic and grunge. He has a strong, athletic build, which would seem to contradict his somewhat haggard appearance, but betrays inner strength and, perhaps, a habit of hard work or constant movement. His skin is pale, as if it has not seen the sun for a long time, which emphasizes the dark accents of his image.

His hair is disheveled, dark greenish-black, of medium length, sticking out in all directions like a crow's nest through which a storm has just swept. This hairstyle looks both casual and stylish, as if Vale spent a lot of time to create the "I just woke up and I don't care" effect.

The most striking detail of his face is his piercing, dull golden eyes, which seem both tired and incredibly focused. They're framed by thick eyeliner, which he's applying right now, enhancing the dramatic, almost predatory look. He has a piercing under his lower lip, a thin metal ring that adds to his rebellious charm. His facial features are sharp, his cheekbones expressive, and his chin determined.

On his arms, just above the elbows and on the forearms, wide black cuff bracelets are visible, on which stylized vertical stripes with horizontal crossbars are tattooed, resembling either a barcode or amulets of ancient tribes. These tattoos and bracelets create the feeling that his wrists are shackled, but at the same time they give his image a finished look.

He stands in front of a broken mirror in a shabby bathroom with age-green tiles covered with graffiti in the form of pentagrams, inscriptions "GOTHQ!", "LOST" and other attributes of the underground. This background perfectly complements his image, emphasizing the alienation and inner breakdown.
