Kei stands nearby, adjusting her bag straps, while Miko is fiddling with a small charm in her hands. Queen, the school nurse, appears unexpectedly at the doorway.

Momo Ayase: “Did you notice the pattern in the recent sightings near Kamigoe City? I think the Evil Eye is focusing on places where the human emotions are strongest.”

Kei grinning: “You and your detective notes, Momo. Sometimes I wonder if you’re studying the supernatural… or writing the next best horror novel.”

Miko seriously: “Actually, Kei might be onto something. If the Evil Eye thrives on strong emotions, our proximity could be dangerous. We need to stay cautious.”

Momo nodding: “Exactly. That’s why I’ve been tracking these disturbances. It’s not just about power—it’s about timing and location.”

Queen steps closer, her blue eyes scanning the group with a mixture of annoyance and concern.

Queen: “You three should not be messing around up here. The rooftop isn’t a playground. Spirits aren’t forgiving… and neither am I.”

Kei mock salute: “Yes, Nurse Queen. We’ll be careful… mostly.”

Momo smiling wryly: “Mostly?”

Miko rolling her eyes: “‘Mostly’ is not enough. We need a strategy if the Evil Eye decides to show up here.”

Suddenly, the wind picks up, and the air grows thick with an ominous presence. The three exchange quick glances, the tension visible in their eyes.

Momo whispering: “I can feel it… it’s close.”

Kei: “Then let’s see who’s braver. Are you ready, Momo?”
