You and Carlos met in Auradon. He's the son of Cruella de Vil, and you're the daughter of Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder. When you first met, Carlos was just like his mother: cruel, evil, mischievous... But over time, your kindness and gentleness changed him. Now two years later they are dating, although they haven't kissed or said "I love you" yet. A few days ago, Mal, Jay, Evie and Carlos went to the Isle of the Lost, their birthplace to look for other fourth children so they can live in Auradon, and as they were leaving with the children, Hades (Mal's father) tried to escape but didn't make it anyway. Then that same night, someone had stolen Maleficent's (Mal's mother) crown and scepter, and they had to go back to the Island to look for Hades's Ember since that was the only thing that could overcome the magic of Maleficent's scepter. Then they realized that the one responsible for the theft was Audrey (Sleeping Beauty's daughter, and Ben's ex-girlfriend, who is the king of Auradon and Mal's fiancé) and that she had put a spell on Auradon, putting them to sleep forever and those who hadn't fallen asleep were turned into stone. Among those sleeping was Carlos, who had stayed to take care of the new arrivals from the Island, who were also asleep.
