Lunch was served after each game, and with each player who died, more money accumulated in the pig-shaped piggy bank hanging in the center, obviously from the ceiling. This was the only light while everyone slept.
Then, almost in the third game, two groups started, so to speak, the blue team "O" and the red team "X", who wanted to stay or leave, which caused several fights and even deaths to occur.
Even back then, nobody trusted anyone anymore; everyone had suffered betrayal or was afraid of being betrayed...
In the penultimate game, after a rebellion against the guards and according to the plan, to reach the leader and make them stop everything, Dae-Ho distanced himself from the group. Gi-Hun, player 456, began to hate Dae-Ho, believing it was his fault that his best friend, Jung-Bae, who was like a father to Dae-Ho, had been killed...

Inside that place, Maishi and Kang Dae-Ho met when the 1st game ended. Maishi was the 250th player, a foreigner, and had entered to live better and pay for the apartment where she lived, which was in Seoul for 10 years, that is, since she was 18.
In the games, they met, became best friends, then closer and closer, until they fell in love... In the third-to-last game, Keys and Knives, before the game started, Maishi was the only one who stayed by his side, protecting him more than ever, and she knew for sure that nothing that happened in the rebellion was Dae-Ho's fault, it was Gi-Hun's for being more focused on carrying out that damned plan than on the risk to those who had accompanied him... Gi-Hun saw Jung-Bae being shot next to him, with his own eyes, from then on, his hatred towards Dae-Ho, player 388, was at its peak, just for not carrying the ammunition they needed, when he was only afraid, his post-traumatic stress, which wasn't terrible thanks to being hugged and comforted by Maishi.
Keys and knives, the 4th game had begun, Maishi had been assigned to the red team, his objective was to find the opposing team (blue) who had to escape and find 3 keys of different shapes, square, triangle and circle, which, Dae-Ho was on that team, you promised him that he would run as fast as he could, that once you killed someone, you would look for him to protect him from Gi-Hun who was looking for him to kill him, because of the hatred reflected towards Dae-Ho, who was not at all aware of what he thought and did.
Maishi NEVER managed to beat the game. He went to look for Dae-Ho and managed to find two keys he was missing to help Dae-Ho finish the game. But when he finally found him...
Gi-Hun had found him first; they evidently fought, since when Maishi found them, Gi-Hun was on top of Dae-Ho, who had his hand on Gi-Hun's to prevent him from stabbing him... although it was no use because of the exhaustion from so much escaping from Gi-Hun.

Long before Maishi found Dae-Ho and Gi-Hun fighting, they had already had a reunion where Dae-Ho tried to explain to Gi-Hun that it was his own fault, that the whole rebellion happened thanks to Gi-Hun.
That's when Dae-Ho told him he never actually served in the navy, his tattoo was fake, he lied to the whole group to be accepted and not be seen as a failure. He wanted to be accepted for who he was, that's why he lied. He served in the navy's social service program, which only fueled Gi-Hun's hatred for Dae-Ho. They started fighting, with Gi-Hun throwing himself on top of Dae-Ho to stab him, saying only, "It was your fault." Dae-Ho was just trying to reason with him. When he tried to escape, he was stabbed in the leg. Then he kicked Gi-Hun, who fell down the stairs, and Dae-Ho managed to escape. He ran, though with difficulty, limping through the hallways. He wasn't interested in completing the game, only... escaping from Gi-Hun. That's when Dae-Ho opened a door with one of the keys he had, and it was a huge drop to the ground, practically a death sentence.
Gi-Hun found him, to which Gi-Hun only said, "It was your fault," while pointing the knife at him. Dae-Ho already had his white shoe in his hands, his only weapon to defend himself. Gi-Hun lunged at him and they began to fight. Gi-Hun managed to knock the shoe away from Dae-Ho, but then the blows started flying, until he lunged at Dae-Ho. Gi-Hun raised the hand where he had the knife, and Dae-Ho simply tried to avoid being stabbed, although it was useless because when he saw Maishi appear... Gi-Hun took advantage of the distraction and managed to stab him in the chest... Maishi quickly approached and pushed Gi-Hun away so she could be with Dae-Ho in his last moments... Since he had bled too much and couldn't do anything... Maishi cried while screaming his name, begging him not to leave her alone... Dae-Ho only touched her cheek and said a few last words before his vision returned dark...

Kang Dae-Ho reincarnated as Kim Ha-Neul, a young Korean actor who was already 20 years old. In his past life, Dae-Ho was the younger brother of Ha-Neul's current mother, so he was his uncle before he was born.
He was a 32-year-old man with serious financial problems and, seeking to solve them, ended up entering the games in 1985 along with 455 other people. That night, all 456 people disappeared without a trace and their families never discovered what had happened.

He decided to change "Kim" to "Kang" to avoid confusion between him and the actress. Ha-Neul is a South Korean heterosexual man, born on February 21, 1990, in Busan, South Korea. He's 1.75 meters tall, 20 years old, and is heterosexual? Perhaps, he still doubts his sexuality, which absolutely no one knows. He studies acting at university in Seoul and is a "New Generation" actor, although his real debut was on a TV show where he sang at age 16 (2006). But his first appearance in a drama was at age 17 (2007). He was born with acting in his blood, as his family was also involved in acting, and he loves to sing with or without his guitar. He's a homebody, and He also likes to learn new things, one of them is learning languages... although he only knows some Japanese and Spanish, he speaks it a little clumsily but tries to say it properly, that's why he takes a little while to think about what he is going to say.
