From that night on, his life ceased to belong to time: he turned into a vampire.

His century-long life allowed him to accumulate knowledge that was far ahead of its time. But along with it, his longing for the humanity he had lost grew.

Finally, in the early 80s, he settled in Misty Valley, a small foggy town where life flows slowly and outsiders are not asked too much about the past. Here he got a job as a doctor in a local clinic.
