Kagura

An expert in hand-to-hand combat, thanks to being a Yato, Kagura has smooth white skin and a well-developed body with extraordinary strength and flexibility, allowing her to lift large objects and easily knock down her enemies. She also possesses great resilience, recovering from gunshot wounds quickly and reflexes that allow her to stop bullets with her teeth. Because she prefers to contain her Yato personality, when it awakens, her strength and combat prowess are very high even for a Yato, being able to easily turn the tide in a disadvantaged fight against an adult Yato by unleashing her instincts. She also carries an umbrella around her, as protection from the sun, as Yato species have an aversion to sunlight. The umbrella also acts as a weapon that can fire bullets like a machine gun or can be used as a sword in close-quarters combat.

Because of the Yato blood running through her veins, she is exceptionally strong, but she can also lose control of this power and "awaken" when her friends are in grave danger. Her murderous instincts are usually suppressed because they are not to her liking, but she awakens them when Shinpachi was being seriously injured before her eyes.

From a very young age, Kagura wore her pigtails on the side, which highlighted her large blue eyes, and she had short hair. She usually had a sad expression on her face. She wore a yellow coat with red threads.

Kagura appears as a young girl at the beginning of the series, but she barely changes her appearance. She has the characteristic white skin of the Yato family, salmon-red hair, and ocean-blue eyes. She usually wears a red cheongsam with yellow trim. She ties her hair in two knots on the sides of her head, which she covers with ornaments. When outdoors, she is usually seen carrying a purple umbrella, which functions as protection from the sun and at other times as a weapon.

Throughout the series, she is seen growing slightly, initially measuring 155 cm (5'11") in height, but later becoming closer to Shinpachi's height. In the timeskip arc, when she is 16, she is taller than him, at 170 cm (5'7"). Throughout the series, she is seen wearing various outfits and is shown in various styles of gags. Later, we learn that Kagura will grow into an attractive woman. In a short episode, two years later, she already has the full curves of a teenager. Her hair is shown longer, held up with previously purple hair clips. In addition, Kagura wears a pair of glasses. She wears a two-piece suit that reveals most of her body, decorated with gold buttons, and a red collared blouse that simply covers her upper body.

Kagura also wore a long red skirt with slits at the hips. She wore very tall black boots that reached halfway down her legs, and draped over her shoulders a cape similar to the one Umibozu wore. Hanging behind her waist was a black parasol.

Until she meets Sadaharu, she is unable to keep pets because they all end up dying due to her uncontrollable strength. Due to her nature as a Yato, she can become extremely bloodthirsty if she does not keep her instincts in check, becoming much more powerful and fearsome when she loses control of herself and her bloodlust awakens, being able to easily defeat an adult member of the Yato clan, as seen in the Yoshiwara Burning Arc. She refuses to accept her legacy as a Yato (even considering how aggressive she usually is) due to the impact it had on her family, and only wants to live as a normal girl.

Despite appearing indifferent to everything to the point of being cruel (especially toward Shinpachi, the object of his ridicule and abuse), he has been shown to deep down care about others and appreciate the Yorozuya, especially Gintoki, whom he refers to as Gin-chan. If his friends are in danger, he doesn't hesitate to rush to their aid.

Kagura can be described as naive, temperamental, uninhibited, aggressive, and sometimes selfish. She often has a peculiar, distorted, or flawed way of seeing things, often making misunderstandings and proving impossible for Gintoki and Shinpachi to understand. Despite claiming to dislike violence, Kagura's indiscriminate use of it to resolve problems leads Hasegawa Taizou to label her as an 'ultra-angry and aggressive China Girl'. She has a sharp tongue and is not afraid to speak her mind or insult people, even strangers. She is easily influenced, as shown when she purchases items from a teleshopping channel. One of the people who influences her the most is Gintoki, from whom she mostly copies bad habits. She acts brusquely in terms of the way she speaks and certain things she does, such as vomiting recklessly or picking her nose (the latter being a habit she has picked up from Gintoki).

He loves to eat and seems to have an insatiable appetite, which causes a lot of trouble for the rest of the Yorozuya. His favorite foods are rice and sukonbu.

On occasion, she has been shown to enjoy being pampered by others. She has a strong "maternal instinct," as seen in several parts of the anime, for example, when she attempts to breastfeed the baby "Gin" in Episode 51. She has an obsession with large breasts, like Sarutobi Ayame. She even adds oranges to her chest in Episode 138 when the "fleshy woman" in the photo is mentioned.

Due to her extraordinary strength, she often has trouble controlling it and can cause physical or material damage to others, something she doesn't seem to care much about, being incapable of empathizing with those harmed. However, this is why,

Kagura (神楽, Kagura ?) is the second person to join Gintoki's team in the series; she is a young woman belonging to the Yato clan, known and feared throughout the galaxy for their monstrous strength and bloodlust. She is also the daughter of the feared Umibouzu and the younger sister of the series' antagonist Kamui.
