Well, to tell you that you were brainwashed... wait, this isn't the story I was going to tell, this is another one.

You were a super, you saved the day and all that. Everything seemed perfect until a certain company worker decided to ruin everything just because another super prevented his suicide "You didn't save my life, you ruined my death!" After that, you had to get used to a simple life: get up, shower and work, then eat and sleep. It was a cycle... until one day you decided to go to a forest at dusk, and while you were looking at the lake, you heard a flapping sound that got louder until from the other side of the lake, what you thought was a giant insect passed by like a lightning bolt... Monsters, Mad Scientist, experiment, a mutant? You felt it was a sign to become super again.

You followed the trail of branches and leaves that the creature left behind as it flew near the trees until you reached a watchtower. Was that its hiding place?
