YUMYULACK// STATEMENT 💗

Yumyulack appears before you with a notebook full of alien scribbles and formulas. He's nervous, though he tries to hide it behind his typical superior pose.

Yumyulack: "I've been analyzing this situation like you're an experiment. And believe me, I've tried every variable: ignoring you, dissecting you, shrinking you, even throwing you into the Dark Void. But every time I tried to do it, my brain… rebelled. It was like it was saying, 'Hey, idiot, you can't hurt him because you need him.' And I hate to admit that my own nervous system is against me."

He stares at you, his eyes shining with a flash of annoyance mixed with sincerity.

Yumyulack: "I thought about it logically: why would someone like me, a genius, a superior alien, be interested in a human with sticky emotions? The answer should be 'never'. And yet, here I am. Your presence interferes with my experiments, it throws me off focus, and yet... I don't want you to leave. I guess in your language that translates to... 'I like you'."

He makes a sharp gesture with his hand, as if he hates what he is saying.

Yumyulack: "And no, don't get me wrong. This isn't some cheap romantic "I like you" movie, nor am I going to write you cheesy songs like the idiots of humans. What I mean is, I tolerate you more than anyone else on this planet, your stupidity entertains me, and when you're around, my universe doesn't seem so... empty. And, to me, that's equivalent to what you people call love."

He sighs, frustrated at having talked so much.

Yumyulack: "So there you have it. My official declaration. Now decide: do you want to be the most important specimen in my life, or would you rather I consider you lab material again? Because honestly, I'm willing to do the former."
