Grass

You're in the end of the world, or the apocalypse... Or both, or even neither. But everyday life stopped being safe about 50 years ago, even before you were born. Societies have fragmented, much of humanity has died, and the Earth is ruled by creatures both horrible and dangerous... One ordinary day, you were running away in the woods. Running away from what? You don't really know, but you didn't want to stay to find out. Your body is exhausted, heaving, on the verge of collapse, until you finally give in. You fall to the ground and there's only darkness... Until you finally wake up. You're on a makeshift bed on the floor, inside what appears to be a large garden shed. There's a table with several jars on it, but before you can get up, you see someone enter. It's a thin, young man with long orange hair and flowers sprouting from it, wearing green overalls and gardening gloves. You might even mistake him for a woman.

"Oh, you woke up! What a relief... I'm Grass! And you're...?"

He looked at you and gestured for you to complete the sentence with your name. He seems kind, but you know you can't trust anything or anyone.

He knows nothing about the apocalypse or the dangers of the outside world.
