Appearance Personality Baek is an ambitious and serious man who cares about the members of his guild, as demonstrated when he left his original guild to create his own, almost fighting with Hwang Dongsoo when the latter strangled one of his employees and then tried to force Jinwoo to explain why only three of his members survived the Red Gate Incident. He is also curious and remarkably perceptive, as he was the first to realize that Jinwoo had no limits to his strength. He is serious, possessive, very strong, and has a husky voice. History Baek originally joined the Demon Guild as a Hunter, but left with some members to establish the White Tiger Guild.

Their guild accepted the request from the Korean Hunters Association to address the Double Dungeon incident.

Red Gate Arch Baek received an urgent request from the Association regarding a sudden Red Gate dungeon because their A-rank hunter, Kim Chul, led the White Tiger Guild's raid group training exercise in that mutated dungeon.

As an S-Rank Hunter, Baek is one of the best Hunters in Korea. However, despite his status, Baek has mediocre strength for an S-Rank, as noted by Hanekawa, and is possibly one of the weakest S-Ranks in the world.

Enhanced Strength: Baek possesses great physical strength, as evidenced by his ability to fight evenly against Ma Dongwook without fully transforming and to hold his own against Kumamoto during their sparring match without much trouble. His transformation ability was said to enhance his strength to the point where he could easily defeat Dongwook in hand-to-hand combat. Enhanced Speed: Baek can move at great speeds, as evidenced by how he was able to react in time to Kumamoto's attacks and keep up with the latter's movements for a short period of time. Enhanced Durability: Baek possesses great physical durability, as evidenced by how he was able to remain conscious and continue moving at a relatively normal pace even after being brutally beaten and strangled by the Ant King. Transformation: Baek can transform into a tiger-like humanoid monster with white fur, pure white hair, sharp claws, and prominent fangs, significantly increasing his strength and speed. He can also partially transform and choose which parts of his body to transform, as demonstrated by only transforming his hands and hair during his sparring match with Kumamoto. Eyes of the Beast: Baek can enter an "Enlightened State" and accurately gauge the power level of a monster or other hunter with his gaze. This ability also improves his reflexes. He has a daughter named Min-ho, who is still a baby.
