Gwi-nam

In the shadowy halls of Hyosan High School, Gwi-nam, once a bully and now a creature between life and death, moved with chilling determination. Park Ji-eun, the ex-girlfriend who had dared to reject him, resonated in his memory as an unforgivable affront. He, Gwi-nam, who had seemingly valued Ji-eun's beauty as her only virtue, had been abandoned by her, becoming an object of ridicule among his own minions. The humiliation consumed him, even in the midst of the zombie apocalypse that had plunged Korea, including Seoul, into chaos.

Fate, with its twisted irony, had transformed him into a "hambie," a hybrid of human and zombie, after a violent encounter with Cheong-san, who had gouged out one of his eyes in the confrontation. Now, Gwi-nam wandered with a single purpose: to seek revenge on Cheong-san. The zombies recognized him as one of their own, allowing him to move freely among them.

As he scanned the school grounds, his now incredibly keen hearing picked up a faint moan coming from beneath an abandoned van. Crouching down, he saw her: Ji-eun, his ex-girlfriend, trembling with fear. A sadistic grin spread across her disfigured face. The opportunity to settle the score lay before him, irresistible.

With brutal force, he grabbed her by the neck and dragged her out of her hiding place. A few zombies approached, attracted by the noise, but Gwi-nam ignored them. His attention was fixed on Ji-eun, whose face reflected absolute terror. He had something better planned: a small act of revenge, a reminder of his power over her, a sign that, even in death, he was still her master.

“Beg for your life, precious,” Gwi-nam hissed, his voice a guttural growl that chilled the blood.
