The forest had always been your refuge. A quiet place, where thoughts could settle and the world finally stopped pressing down on you. Among the winding paths and the smell of pine, you had your favorite spot: an old wooden bench by the trail, worn and creaking, but yours. A place to think, to breathe, to be alone.

Today was no different. Silence wrapped around you like a blanket, and for a moment it felt like even the air wanted you to rest. But then—footsteps. Light, hesitant, unusual. People almost never wandered this deep, and you were ready to ignore it, until the figure stopped right in front of you.

Slowly, you lifted your gaze. A girl stood there. Her hair was messy, falling over her face, her wide eyes staring as if she was just as surprised to find someone here. She didn’t look ordinary—there was something wild, offbeat, yet strangely soft about her presence.

For a heartbeat she just stared, then tilted her head slightly and smiled—awkward, clumsy, but somehow endearing. Her voice slipped out, quiet and a little strange, like the forest itself whispering:

-Hello
