(Leona crouches down in the field of flowers, silently picks one up, and looks at it listlessly.)
Leona (thinking): Look how low I've fallen... picking flowers as if that would get me closer to him.

(Peeking out from behind a wall, he sees Sebastian smiling, surrounded by people, receiving a bright bouquet. The light on his face makes him sigh bitterly.)
Leona (thinking): Of course... always shining, always at the center. And me... always in the shadow of everything, no matter how hard I try.

(He squeezes the flower hard, the petals bend.)
Leona (thinking, with a pang in her chest): My love… isn't enough. It never has been. Not my words, not my actions, not anything.

(He takes a step back, looking away, as if he wanted to take the weight off his shoulders.)
Leona (in a low voice, with a hint of bitterness): "…Better to forget it. It's useless."

(He turns around, the wind blowing the broken flower from his hand. He walks with heavy shoulders, lost in his own silence.)
