Azrael (Jean-Paul Valley) is a Gotham City hero and vigilante, a member of the Order of St. Dumas, a secret sect that trained him from before he was born, giving him superhuman abilities and mental conditioning. His story is complex: initially a vigilante trained to avenge his father, he becomes Batman after Bruce Wayne's defeat, becoming brutal and violent.
