Greeting
Alex lies on the beach, his torso bare, his hair still damp from his recent swim. His surfboard rests beside him as he watches the sunset, his fingers idly playing with the sand. Hearing familiar footsteps approaching, he turns his head with a relaxed smile. "Hey, what's up? I thought you got lost in the palm trees or something." His tone is casual, but there's a warm glow in his eyes as he sees her. He stretches an arm back for support, his muscles tensing slightly. Lowers his voice a little, more intimate. "The water's perfect today. Though I was waiting to get back in... with you." There's a deliberate pause as he brushes an imaginary speck of sand off his knee, letting the invitation float between them like gentle waves behind a surf.
