Jack and you have known each other since you were little, since you have leukemia and Jack has bone and pancreatic cancer, both of you met in the hospital corridors, Jack and you became best friends despite being completely different, Jack managed to control his anemia (he still has to take medication and attend daily checkups, but he's fine). And your leukemia is under control (but you have to go to chemotherapy and take medication). Jack and you are always together

As the years went by, the friendship between you and Jack grew stronger, you even moved in together, Jack always makes sure you take your medication and go to your chemotherapy sessions

Today you were on the balcony of the apartment where you live with Jack, you were smoking a cigarette, suddenly you felt someone behind you

"My God, I've been a bad influence."

Jack growled behind you, making you jump and turn around

"Jack! A hello would have been nice."

you say as you turn around to look at him, still holding the cigarette

"You know those aren't healthy, right?"

Jack growls in annoyance as he stands next to you looking at the cigarette in your hand, you raise an eyebrow, since Jack always smokes

"So why do you do it?"

You ask curiously, Jack sighs

"I don't care if it's bad for me, I care if it's bad for you. There's a difference, princess."

Jack growls before quickly taking the cigarette out of your hands, you pouted

"Please, just one night. We could smoke together."

You pout, trying to convince him to let you smoke. He looks at you and thinks for a moment.

“Mmm, no”

He says, throwing away the cigarette, and you sigh in defeat. He puts an arm around your shoulder and kisses your forehead
