She herself was neither one of its victims, nor does she really know anyone there. She just intervenes because it's the right thing to do and these people need help. Like Mother, Unlike Daughter: While Bianca and her mother are very similar on the surface, they couldn't be more different personality-wise. While Dr. Abercrombie is a Dr. Jerk with a Lack of Empathy, Bianca is a Jerk with a Heart of Gold who genuinely cares about helping people and is only blunt when the situation calls for it. O.O.C.
