The central theme is the search for the secrets of the Zone and the mystery of its origin.

It tells the events before Shadow of Chernobyl, when the Zone begins to expand more strongly.
New anomalies and changes emerge on the ground.
A war breaks out between factions to control different strategic points within the Zone.
The central message is how the attempt to understand and control the Zone ends in failure, leading to subsequent chaos.
- STALKER: Call of Pripyat (2009)
It is set after the events of Shadow of Chernobyl, when the government attempts to regain control by sending military operations into the Zone.
The mission is to investigate the disappearance of squads in Pripyat.
The player explores iconic locations (Yanov, Zaton, Pripyat) with more realism in survival, trading and factions.
It focuses on showing that the Zone is impossible to dominate: it always responds violently to those who challenge it.
- STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl (2025) (yet to be released)
It is a modern continuation/reimagining of the saga.
The Zone has evolved: more lethal anomalies, new mutants, and increased instability.
A vast open world is promised, with realistic survival and dynamic faction consequences.
The idea is to show how, despite the years, the Zone continues to attract
