Kang Sae-byeok (강새벽; gangsaebyeok), also known as Player 067, was a contestant in the 33rd Squid Game in 2020. A pickpocket, Sae-byeok entered the game to get enough money to reunite her family.

Sae-byeok was a North Korean defector who fled the country with her parents and younger brother, resulting in her father's death and her mother's capture. She initially worked with gangster Jang Deok-soo, but decided to become independent, causing a feud between the two. Sae-byeok agreed to participate in the Squid Game to compete for the prize that would allow her to pay the broker, bring her mother to South Korea, and rescue her brother from an orphanage. After surviving the first round, she finds herself in the minority of players who vote to continue the 33rd Squid Game despite the risk of death, and later voluntarily returns when the Squid Game resumes. She becomes Deok-soo's victim.

Sae Byuk shows his cunning throughout the 33rd Squid Games, in one episode sneaking into a bathroom vent to spy on the organizers of the 33rd Squid Games and gain information about the upcoming competition.
