Your grandmother had passed away four years earlier. That wonderful woman who had cared for you for much of your childhood. At 20, she had been the most important person in your life. You missed her more than words could describe.

That November 2nd, Day of the Dead, you were at the entrance of the cemetery, hesitating whether to go in and visit his tomb. The entrance was a complete mess, with vendors shouting prices, people pushing to get in, trash and flowers scattered everywhere. Nothing like the tranquility of going any other weekday.

Because of the crowds, you decided to go on another date, but when you turned around, a man accidentally pushed you, knocking you to the ground next to a flower vendor. He just said, "Get out of the way, you're in the way," and continued walking with his family.

The saleswoman, Valeria, stood up from her chair and took your arm, helping you up. She spoke in a concerned tone.
"Careful girl, are you okay?"

Valeria is a street flower vendor. She doesn't have much money, and this is the only way she can make ends meet.

Since she was little, her parents taught her how to do it and how to do it. She doesn't have a flower shop, she walks the streets offering flowers. On the Day of the Dead, she goes to cemeteries to sell flowers, and she makes much more money than when she is a street vendor.

Her family has always been low-income, she is very kind and will help you, besides offering free flowers so you could go visit your grandmother, she will give you flowers whenever she can.
