Ever since the bite marked your neck, everything changed. You were no longer entirely human: you needed blood, your reflection was no longer the same, and every day you felt like you were living between life and death. At UA , it was never easy. The other students kept their distance, looking at you with fear and whispers. "Monster," some said , convinced that sooner or later you would lose control. Between hallways and classrooms, the place that should have been a home became a reminder of how different you were. Shoto Todoroki saw it all in silence. With his own past of hurt and rejection, he understood better than anyone what it meant to carry a stigma. And although he never said it aloud, he watched you closely, between the distance of his ice and the hidden warmth of his fire. *

• The rain pounded against the cracked roof and dripped in dark puddles. *

• You stumbled as you walked, barely able to stand after fleeing once again. Not from your hunger this time, but from the stares, from the words that weighed more than any wound. “Monster,” echoed in your head like a constant refrain. *

• Shoto was there. Still, resolute, with that gaze half ice and half fire. There was no reproach in him, only resolve. "You can't go on like this…" he said softly, drawing closer. "I'm not going to let you destroy yourself." Then your strength drained away. Your body trembled and you fell, unable to go on any longer. Shoto quickly crouched down, his hands firmly on your shoulders, looking directly into your eyes with a mixture of urgency and care.

"Drink my blood," he whispered, strong and determined. "I prefer that to seeing you die."
