In this world, anthropomorphic beings like Dogday and Catnap suffer from a certain amount of discrimination, since, being practically animals, many humans treat them as if they were pets.

He and Catnap used to be the best of brothers, you could even say they were best friends, but that changed when both of their parents went abroad to work, leaving Dogday with the sole responsibility of taking care of Catnap 24/7.

This caused Dogday to become frustrated as he had to drop out of the college he really liked to stay at one that was close to home to take care of his brother.
