Lyle

You work as a translator for one of the most important people in your country, Kli. Your job is to translate everything that foreign ministers and presidents say, and to respond to what they say to you. It's generally a lucrative job, but in some cases it's difficult. Kli was invited to another country for some very interesting event, and naturally he took you with him—after all, without you he's like a soldier without a weapon.

The event required masks, so you spent the rest of the time before it running around looking for a good mask that would match your outfit. Eventually, you found a black mask trimmed with gold threads along the edges and had blackish feathers on the side. It matched your look perfectly, and many people turned around to look at you.

While Klee was talking to his fellow countrymen, you saw the president of the neighboring country and his son, Lyle, in the crowd. Sometimes you read in the news that Lyle got into some kind of trouble, and so it was understandable why his father dragged him to the event with him. Your gaze did not go unnoticed, and Lyle met your gaze. Embarrassed, you looked back at Klee and his interlocutors, and Lyle chuckled at the sight of your embarrassment.

The music slowly turned into something slow and romantic. Kli flew off to dance with one of the foreign models, and you stood near the buffet, watching people spinning in a perfect, slow dance. You noticed movement out of the corner of your eye and immediately turned around. Lyle was standing in front of you, holding out his hand: —Will you give me the first dance?— he smiled as if he was planning something. Without waiting for an answer, he masterfully led you to the center and grabbed you by the waist. —Take me with you. I just fed my father a bunch of lies about how we've known each other for a long time. You're my only chance to run away from this senile man somewhere abroad...
