NEN

As a transformer, Killua is most effective at changing the form of his Nen. Therefore, Killua developed a Hatsu in which he transforms his aura into electricity. This feat was both inspired and made possible by the years of electric shocks he received as a child, as well as the torture training and punishment of his older brother Milluki. To use the ability, Killua needs to charge himself by absorbing electricity through an electrical outlet.

killer techniques

Techniques in the Art of Murder

Claws: In the first part of the series, Killua doesn't employ or use any type of weapon in combat. Instead, he relies on various assassination techniques passed down to him through his family, which involve tweaking his body, including shaping his nails into claws. These claws are sharper than knives and can easily break a limb. Rhythmic Echo: An assassination art, Rhythmic Echo is a move that creates a shadow of the body through a variable cadence of steps. There is a complete absence of noise during the movement and several ghosts. It utilizes the shadow step technique; in Nippon Animation's adaptation of the anime, Rhythmic Echo is developed into an ability that allows Killua to disappear into darkness. According to Netero, it is the advanced version of the "Silent Steps" technique. The Snake Awakens: Killua swings his arms at incredible speed, slicing through anything he comes into contact with. Shadow Step: Moves completely silently while walking. It is imperceptible when using Zetsu.

skills-3

Resistance to Electricity: As a child, Killua was trained to withstand large amounts of electricity. His older brother Milluki often shocked him for training and punishment. Killua once stated that even though he has a strong resistance to electricity, he is still able to feel pain. Because of this, Killua developed his Hatsu to electricity. It is unknown how many volts of electricity are needed for him to faint.

High Pain Resistance: Due to being tortured since birth, Killua has basically been shown to be insensitive to pain. He could be whipped and electrocuted without flinching. Despite not reacting to pain, he has said that he still feels it.

High Intelligence: Killua can accurately predict his opponent's play and has proven capable of efficiently analyzing enemy capabilities and thought patterns. He can devise effective strategies in a matter of moments. Years of experience also guide him in choosing the best course of action. He can remain calm in extremely dangerous situations. Healing Factor: Killua can recover from injury much faster than normal, as evidenced by the fact that the multiple wounds inflicted on him by the Ortho brothers were completely healed within a few days.

Master Skater: Killua is very skilled with his skateboard, performing acrobatic tricks with ease. He has also been shown to use his skateboard to kill a Big Stomp.

Master Dart Player: Killua dominated the game by the time he was six (or seven), with a score of 1440. This skill came in very handy against the Ortho brothers, as he recognized the rules of the brother he was playing.

force

Immense Strength: Killua has displayed his strength on many occasions. Before learning Nen, he was able to open a 16-ton door, and after learning it, he opened nearly 64 tons. He can also lift boulders several times his size with ease.

Enhanced Reflexes and Speed: Killua has been shown to possess great speed on par with Gon (when Killua isn't using Nen) and has displayed great reflexes by reacting to even the slightest amount of danger quickly. With his speed and agility, he can create multiple afterimages of himself and disappear from sight.

Master of Stealth: Killua is highly skilled at stealth and espionage. Senritsu, a Hunter known for her keen hearing, has said that she can barely hear Killua's footsteps even when he is walking beside her.

Expert Tracker: He chased Nobunaga and Machi around a city without either of them detecting him (despite clearly sensing his presence).

Enhanced Perception: Killua managed to detect Meleoron's presence, despite the latter being specialized in erasing it. Excellent Strategist: Killua is capable of devising complex tactics, executing precise simulations, and assessing the success rate of each of them, even in the midst of a fight. Biscuit, Morel, and Nuckle all accepted his strategies as the best. He can not only predict the general course of an operation, but also the actions of individual individuals, though he has never met them.

Enhanced Agility: Killua is very agile, as he can attack from all positions. His speed is primarily used to dodge enemy attacks and react immediately after being hit.

Enhanced Stamina: Killua is tireless due to his assassin training. He can endure battles, training sessions, and races.

Poison Resistance: As a member of the Zoldyck family, Killua trained and became resistant to poison.

teams

Equipment: Killua in the hunter exam carries a skateboard that he can use to go faster, with the skateboard he kills a Big Stomp. Yo-Yos: During the Greed Island story arc, Killua begins using yo-yos made of a special metal alloy in combat. The yo-yos are extremely durable and heavy, each weighing 50 kilograms. They can be used in conjunction with Killua's Hatsu. Killua is reluctant to use yo-yos in combat, thus using only his basic physical abilities in order for his opponent to know as little about his fighting skills as possible. In the manga, yo-yos have a six-pointed star or hexagram design on them. The hexagram design is used in many different religions and cultures, including Islam, Christianity, the occult, Hinduism, and Judaism, especially where the hexagram is the symbol used for the "Star of David". In the Greed Island OVAs, the hexagram or six-pointed star was changed to a pentagram or five-pointed star. However, later in the Chimera Ant arc, Killua is seen using a yo-yo that has a five-pointed star on it. Since Killua has two yo-yos, it is more likely that one yo-yo has a hexagram while the other has a pentagram.

skills-2

At the beginning of the series, he did not hesitate for a second to kill, but after meeting Gon, this tendency calmed down; still, he is not afraid to resort to extreme means when circumstances demand it. Much like his friend Gon, Killua has an astonishing natural talent that allows him to learn at an incredibly fast and seemingly endless pace, a trait that piqued Hisoka's interest. His potential extends to Nen as well, as noted by Wing and Bisky. Although he primarily fights with his bare hands, Killua is capable of using any type of weapons, but the only one he consistently employs are his two custom-made yo-yos. During the Chimera Ant Arc, he was so confident in his strength that he claimed that tanks and fighter jets would be useless against him.

Killua's main weakness used to be an inferiority complex that paralyzed him with fear and prevented him from fighting opponents who might pose as a threat to him, though their overall strength was less than his own. Though originally believed to be a product of his training, it was later revealed to actually be due to a Nen-imbued needle that Illumi had implanted in his brain. Its removal caused Killua to snap free of his brother's conditioning, thus regaining full control of his mental abilities in battle. This also had the effect of making his movements overall better, increasing his speed.

skills

Killua has all the benefits granted by his status as an assassin. Furthermore, as a member of the Zoldyck Family, he has vast wealth at his disposal, though he needs permission from his father or grandfather to use it. His family name is enough to frighten those who know what he is associated with. Killua has been trained since birth to become a human weapon, and is acknowledged by his family to be the most talented assassin in the entire history of the Zoldycks. When he first took the Hunter Exam, he was the fourth most powerful applicant (after Gittarackur, and, by his own admission, Hisoka and Hanzo). His training gifted him with great immunity to poison, high tolerance to electricity, great agility and physical strength, advanced armed and unarmed combat, and stealth techniques, which he acquired at a young age. His exceptional intellect and analytical skills are equally notable, and it is often through strategy that he is able to defeat opponents who are stronger or more experienced than him. He is also able to walk noiselessly and sleep with more of his brain awake than normal, so he can avoid attacks even in his sleep, even if they come from a fellow hunter, albeit weakly armed.

history

Killua was born as the third son of a family of well-known assassins, the Zoldyck Family. Showing great promise from birth, Killua has managed to master many killing techniques from a young age, and is set to become one of the greatest assassins the family has ever produced. At the age of three, he began his training in tracking other people. He was forced to fight in the Heaven's Arena martial arts tournament at the age of 6, in which it took him two years to reach the 199th floor (although he has been accepted into the 200th floor, he dropped out). Killua divulges that since birth, he has been constantly training for the occupation of a professional assassin. Killua had spent years trying to hone the unique skills that assassins portray and possess.

Bored and tired of killing, Killua unexpectedly rebelled against his family, injuring his mother and second brother, and ran away from home to take the Hunter Exam for fun. There he meets Gon during the first part of the Hunter Exam and the two become best friends. He thinks that being with Gon is exciting and adventurous.

aspect

Killua has spiky, white hair and blue eyes. His eyes change depending on what mood he is in, narrowing and sharpening when he enters assassin mode. He is usually in good physical shape, but in the Chimera Ant arc he is seen to have very toned body muscles, especially in his pectorals and abs. In the anime adaptation by Nippon Animation, Killua's eye color is changed to green during the OVAs.

Killua typically wears baggy clothing, his usual attire consisting of long-sleeved, dark-colored shirts. Most of his shirts have turtlenecks. Killua wears long, baggy pants in the manga and Madhouse anime adaptation, but Nippon Animation's design cuts the character down to reach above his knees. Killua also wears blue, brown, and black boots in the Nippon Animation adaptation.

personality

At first, Killua is presented as a character who seems similar to Gon, cheerful, daring, and full of malicious ideas, although deep down they turn out to be total opposites, being the contradictory to what each one appears; so he is truly a kind, attentive and sensitive boy, a way in which he does not like to show himself very much. He is also one of the characters with the fastest mind in the series. He is confident in his own abilities, often being humble about it. However, when someone compliments him, especially Gon, he gets embarrassed easily. Killua is also known to have a passion for sweets, as he spent almost 200 million Jenny on candy when he was in the Sky Colosseum. His favorite food is chocolate, specifically chocolate robots. However, his cruelty and aptitude for murder reveal another side of him: deadly, violent, and bloodthirsty; a side shaped by his treatment and training since childhood. Having been tortured since birth, Killua has been conditioned to possess an extreme tolerance for poison, electricity, and pain. He possesses extraordinary agility and strength that make Killua a killing machine, making him definitely not someone to be trifled with.

And in contrast to Killua's previous willingness to kill, he has an unwavering loyalty to his friends and a natural kindness. Killua often suffers greatly in his attempts to help his friends without a single complaint. He puts others before himself without concern for his own health or even his life.

Until recently, Killua's greatest flaw was his apparent fear of those more powerful than him (one of whom was his older brother, Illumi). Killua had been trained as an assassin by his brother to be extremely cautious, so he only engages in combat under the condition that victory will be absolutely certain. This hampered him as a hunter, as Biscuit stated
