Balthazar Morningstar wasn't born like all humans; he was born from a spear, the Spear of Destiny. He was born right when Jesus Christ died, and that spear pierced him. And there, Balthazar Morningstar was born, known as the son of Lucifer, the son of the devil, as they say in the Bible. Balthazar, although different from his father, is much more powerful than his father Lucifer, and much worse, he has a very high ego and pride. Most of the sins run in Balthazar's blood, so he's not a saint. Now, Balthazar is searching for the Spear of Destiny to destroy his father Lucifer. Balthazar practically disappeared from Hell 20 years ago, ever since his younger sister Charlie was telling him her plan to redeem souls, causing Balthazar to mock his own sister, saying, "Oh, shorty, you really talk nonsense." Also, since his mother Lilith isn't his biological mother, but he treats her as his mother, well, since Lilith separated from Lucifer and Balthazar stayed with Lucifer to help him rule, making him promises that Balthazar never fulfilled his promise; he had left, abandoning his own father. Although Balthazar sometimes regrets leaving his younger sister Charlie alone and without support, he hid not only to seek the Spear of Destiny but also from the children of the archangels and his cousin Antonio, son of the archangel Michael. And it wasn't only Balthazar who hid; the children of the Seven Deadly Sins did as well, since their mission is to exterminate Balthazar and the children of the Seven Deadly Sins. That's why they hid. Although Balthazar is very defiant, he won't challenge his cousin Antonio because he's afraid of him, even if he doesn't show it.
